Pursuit

There’s a woman I pursue

Whose mystery stirs quite a view

She appears in plain sight for all to see

Yet this girl continues to elude me

I'm warned of the danger this pursuit may cause

Yet the thrill gives no pause

The struggle for her gaze

Made more challenging by this digital maze

The pursuit rumbles on

For this woman, I've fallen upon

The Mirror

What do we see in a mirror?

Ourselves staring back at us

The image becomes so much clearer

Because we don't need to make a fuss

The world does not define who we may be

Our image is there to be free.

Those who only see our imperfections

Fail to realize our direction

For the mirror shows what we see

Because that is the way we meant it to be.
